Our high school choir was lucky enough to have a visitor join us for class today!

Dr. John Wiles made the trip from the University of Northern Iowa to add some finer details to our performance for next Monday. Additionally a couple of our future UNI Panthers also got the opportunity to speak with him about UNI Choirs 💛💜

We are most grateful for his expertise and willingness to make the journey to see us! 🎶🐾

Congratulations to our High School Choir on their Exemplary Rating at the Spring City Music Festival yesterday! 🎶🏆

Judges were impressed with the group’s professionalism, ex*****on of challenging music, and ability to balance/blend as a choir of our size.

Additionally, our singers were grateful for the opportunity to get receive and apply meaningful feedback from our judges immediately following their performance. We can’t wait to showcase all that we learned from this experience during our spring concert next week! 🐾🎶🎫

We 💜 UNI We Sing!!

On Friday, five of our high school singers hit the road to travel to UNI for their annual We Sing treble festival.

Singers spent the day working with the talented and ever-so-wholesome Dr. Elise Hepworth 🫶 Under her direction, they learned a total of four pieces—two of which may hit the Panorama Choir repertoire list for next school year… stay tuned 👀.

Overall, we enjoyed getting to spend a day making music, uplifting others and gaining inspiration to take back home with us.

Thank you to the UNI Cecilians for hosting such a wonderful event and making our experience a truly unforgettable one! We will be back! 💜💛💙🎶

Congratulations to all of our music students who participated in the IHSMA State Solo/Ensemble Contest this morning!🎶

These students poured many hours into practicing and preparing over the past few months outside of their normal ensemble rehearsal. As their teachers, it is inspiring to see them grow as musicians throughout this process. It’s also a bit exciting knowing the positive impact their growth will have on our ensembles!
