Art day in summer camp today!!! 🦋

A group of 8 Jr. High and HS students earned a celebration event today at Top Golf. They completed an optional novel this year that was either War and Peace or Watership Down. ⛳

Great opportunities to get involved with American Heritage Girls on both "sides" of Magnolia :)

We had a great last day complete with field day fun, kinder graduation and a staff vs Jr. High/HS student kickball game! Happy summer break 🌞 ⛱️

Jr. High read a total of 104,368 pages this year. They surpassed their goal!!! 📚

1st grade was playing connect four to review r-controlled words which has been their phonics skill the past few weeks.

Elementary art worked on vanishing points in their artwork. 🏔️

Meet Gilbert! He was donated by one of our families as a class pet to our high school science teacher!!!

Teacher Appreciation from one of our upper teachers point of view:

I am blessed daily by the group of women I work with. That applies to all the staff at MHA, but our leadership staff assembled a teaching team that holds a special place in my heart. Once a month the MHA "upper grade" teachers meet to discuss how we can best support our students and each other. We pray with each other and for our students. We cheer each other on. We lift each other up. After 14 years in the classroom I haven't experienced a teaching team that works this well together. Thank you, friends, for another wonderful year in education.
