When your sweet friend has the idea to meet up and have monthly craft/art dates, it is imperative that you agree 😍🎨

Gari-Ann (the super talented branding photographer behind ) last October proposed that we get together each month to have fun, relax, and just create. No pressure to make any "masterpieces." Just catching up with one another about family, business, and military life. A way to slow down, breathe, and have casual conversations.

I have to say. I didn't realize how much my soul needed these little art dates. Life gets busy, and it is so easy to push relationships aside. Through her, the Lord has reminded me about how important each relationship is in our lives and that nurturing them is the most life-giving gift we could ever receive.

Just coming on here to say two things:

1) God is good.

2) Our paint color "Tiny Umbrellas" is color I believe doesn't get enough love.

Color Mixing: Greens 💚

I know that mixing colors well as a beginner in watercolor can get a little confusing. But it is a skill that can instantly elevate your paintings. And just like everything else, gets much easier and more intuitive the more you practice.
