Faculty, staff, graduate students and post doctoral researchers are conducting world-class research right here in Wisconsin.

Limnology (lim-NOL-ə-jee) from Greek: Λίμνη limnee, "lake"; and λόγος, logos, "knowledge"), also called freshwater science, is the study of inland waters from lakes, rivers, streams, to groundwater and wetlands.
