We spent the day knocking on doors at the Capitol chatting h**p with our legislature’s and partners from . Special shout out to .hendrickson for helping us get in some doors that may have stayed shut to our community! She is running for Senate district 17 seat! **p

Had the opportunity to catch up with one of our old friends tonight at her town hall meeting held in Windsor, WI. We mentioned soils, h**p, Pfas, biochar. **p

Eli (middle) reached out to WIHFMA this last year looking for help with a scholarship to play rugby across Europe. We gladly helped out and in return he chose to do a small internship and a couple work days on one of our partner farms . Craig gladly said yes to teach the future youth about soil, plants, & the business. He will also be submitting a detailed report of his time for a project to help him finish up a class and graduate high school. We wish Eli the best in his future adventures in rugby, and life! Maybe someday soon he will get some seeds in the ground. Always forward **p

Ma*****na isn’t legal in Wisconsin, but a person driving down any number of city streets or past strip malls might be forgiven for not realizing that. Storefronts selling THC and CBD products, all derived from the same cannabis plant as ma*****na, have flourished in Wisconsin. Those stores — along with the vapes, gummies, drinks and creams available for purchase at grocery stores and gas stations — are there because of a federal loophole. Today was a giant win for our Industry! First time in 8 years we have finally showed up to a table unified with one message. Thank you Senator Testin for your support on your new language to help protect our Indutry! The power of the farmer is a very powerful tool- Huge shout out to our industry for standing ten toes deep today. We may have a chance here to protect the Wiscosnin indutry and give us a leg to to stand on against the federal government full ban. WIHFMA doors are open for the folks who truly care about the plant! **p
