Over 20 years experience teaching private, one-on-one piano lessons. Offering in-person and virtual. In my piano lessons, I teach ages 4 1/2 to adult.
I am a music teacher with 13 years of experience in one-on-one piano lessons, 4 years in group music classes, 2 year in early childhood music, and 18 years as a professional performer. I teach a very diverse group of students, including those who only play by ear and do not read music, those who play strictly classical, a few who strive to learn piano-arranged rock and punk songs, and several who
have began composing and occasionally following the sing-songwriter path. I am open to any and all musical directions in our piano lessons. In every lesson, I focus on individualized curriculum for each student based on their interests, needs, age, and ability.

I received my BA in Music and Elementary Teaching Certification from Beloit College in 2001, and my MM in Music Education from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. I love teaching, and feel fortunate to be practicing and living my two main passions in life: teaching and music!
