Vivien T. Thomas' tenth-grade EMT students in Mr. Bowen’s class are gaining real-world experience through hands-on simulations—applying their skills in emergency response and patient care.

Dr. Eric B. Bauman is wrapping up a quick teaching trip down to American Canadian School of Medicine in Dominica 🇩🇲 where he worked with students to prepare them for their upcoming clerkships. He also facilitated an OB/Gyn Club talk with his colleague Dr. Ryan Luellwitz from UWSMPH, and engaged ACSOM faculty and local medical staff with a number of continuing education opportunities.

Meet our new Game Design Director, Chris!

Chris created his first board game at age 10 and even sent it to Milton Bradley, earning a kind rejection letter and sparking a lifelong passion for game design. Since then, he’s led countless D&D campaigns, played guitar in a number of (very loud) bands, and most recently enjoyed diving into the atmospheric world of Claire Obscure.

A longtime fan of League of Legends and Magic: The Gathering, Chris brings deep experience, creative vision, and a love for all things gameplay. We’re excited to have him on board!

Clinical Playgrounds Dr. Eric B Bauman is wrapping up a week of teaching in Dominca at the American Canadian School of Medicine where he lead a course on Resuscitation and Crisis Resourse Management for Medical Students, provided ACLS training for the hospital emergency department staff and worked with the local Portsmouth Fire personnel to provide continuing education.
