Rehearsals are on! On Tuesday, June 9, the cast of the MHS spring musical, Alice by Heart, will be performing one more time when they will perform “Down the Hole” at the Paper Mill Playhouse Riding Star Awards ceremony as one of the 6 nominees for Outstanding Overall Performance of a Musical! Break a leg!!!

What a joy it was to go back down the hole with this amazing bunch of students yesterday. We are all so excited for what the next two weeks have in store!

An absolutely stunning MHS band concert last night, including the Winter Percussion Ensemble, Madison Avenue Jazz Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Symphonic Band. Three Student Intern Conductors (a 12th, 11th, and 9th grader!), final bows and slideshow for the 27 seniors, and an incredibly moving commissioned finale piece, “Spirit Unbound,” in memory of the band senior we lost this past year, which was funded by an MMA grant. Thank you for sharing your beautiful music with us!

Shes a winner, baby! So proud of Malu Leal for taking home the Foxy Award for her makeup design of Blithe Spirit. Her work was truly outstanding and we are so proud of her.
