We are looking for volunteers to assist in the cataloging of archived material using a metadata. A training will be held THIS WEDNESDAY, February 29, 2012, from 6:15 to 7:30 in the Library School (Library) Computer Lab on the 4th floor of the Helen C. White Hall. To get to the lab, do NOT enter through the College Library on the first floor. Use the elevator from the parking garage if you park there (it is metered and has handicap parking) or use the door next to the main doors to the library.

Interested in having your media archived? We now have multiple hard drives (Drobo) and librarians/archivists have created a metadata system to catalog and make items searchable. A number of digital photos and videos have been submitted and are beginning to be cataloged. We are looking for additional items and for volunteers to help with the process. We have a filmmaker who has requested specific footage from our fledgling archive. He is looking for footage of Tim Cullen speaking at the return rally for the Fab 14 (did anybody shoot part of or the entire event or Tim’s speech?) We also are looking for any other footage of teachers being blamed for Wisconsin's debts, Walker footage, or people criticizing unions.
Does anyone have footage of Walker actually signing the bill?
