A competitive ballroom dance team of Madison, Wisconsin. Through our strong instruction program we have successfully built a highly competitive ballroom team.
BBDT reaches out to people of all levels of dance proficiency and provides high quality ballroom instruction year-round. Weekly lessons are provided and are supplemented with biweekly workshops with our professional coaches, Veronika Shapar and Vladimir Vitenko. To help breathe life into the elegant ball where Romeo and Juliet meet (and smooch) at the start of A Valentine's Affair 2026: Love Scenes From Shakespeare and Beyond, MSC reached out to Jason "Jameson" Ocker, of long affiliation with Badger Ballroom Dance Team (BBDT). Jameson got our dancers moving with tight instruction and valuable insights on everything from music selection to partner etiquette.
