Madison Metropolitan School District is the second largest school district in the State of Wisconsin.

The Madison Metropolitan School District serves 27,000 students in 48 schools, including 32 elementary schools (grades K-­5), 11 middle schools (6-8), four comprehensive high schools and one alternative high school.
