A big thank you to our Oakland Community College admissions representative, Hannah Tripp, for visiting Lamphere High School and sharing valuable information with our juniors and seniors!

Students learned about OCC’s certificate programs, associate degrees, transfer options, guest student opportunities, and pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs. She also highlighted the many academic supports and student life opportunities available to OCC students.

We appreciate her time and partnership in helping our students explore their postsecondary options!

Lamphere Schools Facility Improvement Bond Video Series

In part four of our series, Derek Southwick, Principal of Lamphere High School, shares why the upcoming 2026 Facility Improvement Bond on November 3rd is so critical for our students and staff.

Over 52% of the high school’s roofing needs replacement, and 40 out of 44 mechanical systems are past their expected service life. From aging steam boilers to plumbing leaks, maintaining a comfortable and safe learning environment gets harder every year.

If approved, Lamphere High School would receive:
• 90,800 square feet of roof replacement
• New chiller and upgraded temperature controls
• Redesigned secure vestibule and enhanced access control
• Concrete, asphalt, and storm water drainage repairs

Visit our website: LamphereSchools.org for full bond information, or contact Superintendent Dale Steen with any questions.

Clear out those old hoodies, jeans, and sneakers you don't wear anymore and put them to good use!

Drop your gently used clothes and shoes in the Clothes Bin to help raise funds for our school and keep textiles out of landfills! Bins are located in the parking lot at each school.

Why drop it in the bin?
✔️ Clear space in your closets and drawers
✔️ Support your school
✔️ Keep clothes out of landfills ♻️

Look good, do good. Fill the bin this school year!
