I love getting to know more about the couples I work with just by seeing their interactions together in front of a camera. Sarah + Carson are joyful and silly and fit together like a puzzle piece.

I have been so blessed to have a front row seat to Sarah's life from growing up in dance together and now to watch her and Carson's love for each other blossom AND getting to capture their wedding next year ?! Another one of those moments that makes me say "what even is my life"!! 🤭🫶

I had the absolute honor of capturing one of the SWEETEST moments of their story in one of my FAVORITE places—Carolina Beach!! The dreamiest surprise proposal and such a fun session to follow - every second was so full of joy. They are the sweetest, and this session was such a dream to photograph.

I already can't wait to be back! 🌊

Hi friends... long time, no post. 🤍

Busy season has definitely been busy, and what a blessing it is to be able to say that. I can't wait to finally start sharing everything I've been up to this summer—from sessions right here in Lynchburg, to traveling all over Virginia, weekends at the beach, and even all the way to Ohio.

This summer also marks two years of Ally D Photography, and honestly... I still can't believe I get to call this my life.

Two years ago, I never could have imagined where this little business would take me. Every inquiry, every wedding day, every family session, every senior, every new friend I've met along the way has been a reminder of God's faithfulness. I am endlessly grateful to every client who has trusted me to capture such meaningful moments, and to every friend and family member who has supported this dream from the very beginning.
