On September 16th, MHS Support Staff, MUSD Health & Wellness Department, and Madera County Behavioral Health came together for Su***de Prevention Awareness Day. Over 900 10th and 12th-graders received presentations, and the whole school joined in a lunchtime Mental Health Resource Fair. Together, we’re breaking the silence and reminding every student—you are not alone. 💙🐺

Counselors have definitely been enjoying the Summer off, but we can’t wait to return to see our Staff & Students! We closed out last school year honoring two of our faves: Mr. Latimer & Ms. Cardona!! We can’t wait for what this next school year will bring for us all. Proud to be part of the Coyote Family!

Ken Taylor Scholarship Dinner! 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣
5 of the 9 Ken Taylor boy of the month nominees were from Madera High School. Inderveer Singh was awarded Boy of the Year! A huge congratulations to all of our boys. What an honor to have such great young men representing MHS! 💙🐾

Our seniors in AP English and DE English received an amazing presentation from our MHS Alumni Catherine Corchado and Smittcamp Honors Recipient. She wanted to encourage our seniors to apply for this prestigious honors program. Students got to learn all about the Smittcamp program from Catherine who has had the honor of being selected for the program and reaped all the awards and benefits of this amazing program. When our past Coyotes give back to the community, it empowers our new generations and strengthens the future! 🐾💙

Fresno Area College Night was a Success! We had a full house! MHS students had a great time, met several college reps and collected lots of goodies! Counselors are grateful we are able to take students to experience this awesome night!
