A snowy morning, wonderful plenaries and panels, a museum visit, and a lovely dinner (including recognition of our marvelous conference planner, Anna). Day One of ACTCโs 2023 European conference, โResilience in the Face of Adversity: A Core Textual Approach,โ was a success and a delight. Day Two promises to be just as interesting and enjoyable.

ACTCโs 27th Annual Conference was a weekend of important conversations about how and why we teach. It was also a joyful reunion. Gathering matters. Thanks to all who wrote their papers, made the trip, and contributed to the beauty and goodness of the time we shared at Notre Dame.
And put March 30 - April 2, 2023 on your calendars. Weโre going to Dallas!

We had a great weekend at St. Vincent College for ACTCโs Undergraduate Conference โWork, Leisure, and the Pursuit of Happiness.โ Our students really stepped up to the challenge and presented thoughtful, careful work on a wide range of core texts theyโve read in our programs. They listened carefully, asked good questions and (they tell me) had a great time. Zena Hitzโs wonderful keynote address was a perfect finale. Thanks to Prof. Michael Krom and everyone at St. Vincent for their hard work and Benedictine hospitality.
