The Gay-Straight Alliance works to create a safe and supportive environment for students, while learning about homophobia and gender oppression.
Educating the community about gender identity and sexual orientation issues is our mission. We are a coalition of individual students at Macon State College of all sexual orientations and gender identities to represent LGBT-inclusive ideas and solutions in the student body and before the administration and faculty. If you have issues with your sexual orientation or have experienced undesirable incidences on campus regarding your orientation, we have your back.

Today in the COAS Lobby from 11:00-1:00 we are having the GSA history carnival. Please come join us for the event. We would love to have you as a volunteer or as a player. If you are able to help around 10:15 we will be setting up the event.

Heeeey Everyone!!!
It’s time again for a “Book and a Movie”. For this book and movie event, we will be reading Stephen Chbosky's, "Perks of Being a Wallflower".
We will meet on Wednesday, November 9th. We will discuss the book at 3:30, and then watch the movie at 6:00ish.
Everyone go out and get the book so we can have a lively discussion.

The GSA is cooperating with the Women's Studies Association to throw an Ice Cream Social!!
The social is TODAY, Wednesday October 5 at 6:00pm. Meet us in the Rehearsal Hall located in the COAS building on the Macon Campus.
