Macon R-1 would like to formally welcome Todd Fuemmeler to the district!

"My name is Todd Fuemmeler, and I am excited to be introduced as the new Director of Maintenance for Macon schools. I started in January, so I have already had the opportunity to see how welcoming and supportive this district is. I previously worked for the Moberly School District for 10 years as the Assistant Director of Maintenance, and for over four years with Liberty School District as the Maintenance and Grounds Manager. My wife, Erica, and I have two children, Hayven and Coltyn, who are currently a sophomore and a junior at Westran Schools. We enjoy sports (especially the Royals and Chiefs), spending time on the water, and being with family.

I look forward to getting to know everyone better and working together to support a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our students and staff."

Last Friday we took students to compete at the Grand River Welding Institute welding competition. Congratulations to Hayden Swift and Dominic Strayhorn on their top 10 finishes. Way to go boys!
