Had an amazing time this weekend visiting rural Georgia as a surrogate for the Harris-Walz campaign! 🙌🏽 There's something special about the authenticity of small-town America, and it felt great to step outside the hustle of Atlanta to connect with voters in Jasper County. The Move the Mountain event was a huge success—great food, dancing, and inspiring speeches!
I reminded everyone how crucial their efforts and votes are for Georgia and for the entire country.

The best part? After the event, they all walked to the courthouse together to cast their votes for the next President of the United States, Kamala Harris! 🗳️💪🏽 Let's keep up the momentum!

I'm excited to co-sponsor this incredible event happening right in Mableton on Sunday, October 20th from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. for an afternoon of family fun, community engagement, and an important cause—the National Childcare Voter’s Day of Action!

Children in attendance will enjoy a mock voting experience, and we'll highlight the critical need for affordable childcare. From a Falcons Watch Party to a Costume Contest, STEM activities, food, music, and more, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

I’ll be there to talk about how we can strengthen Mableton together, and I’d love to see you all. Let’s stand united in support of our children and families!

Join us tonight as we discuss ways to ensure that as many people as possible exercise their right to vote!
During the 2024 Primary, just 16% of Cobb County's registered voters cast ballots. This was only 83,344 of 507,683 registered voters participating in the partisan primary and nonpartisan judicial elections (as reported in the MDJ).
We want to encourage voter participation and are looking forward to an impactful discussion.

Special Called Transitional City Council Meeting

There will be a Special Called Meeting of the City of Mableton, Georgia,
(“City”) Mayor and Council for the purpose of discussing and/or acting upon
proclamation(s), recognitions(s), minutes approval and preliminary municipal
incorporation/transitional matters which include, ethics principles and
certification, adoption of the City’s legal organ, procedural rules, banking,
taxes/fees/assessments and finance related activities, and executive session
exceptions. The meeting will take place on May 25, 2023 at 6:30PM at
Riverside EpiCenter, 135 Riverside Pkwy, Austell, GA 30168.
