July 4th BoomFest coordinated with LHS Art Teacher Leah Bowers to create the Apparel Design for BoomFest gear. Out of 75 entries from USD 405 students, the Top Five were recognized. Receiving certificates at the middle school were Logan Thomasson and Alexa Elstun.
The overall winner of the contest was Genesis Hernandez.

Lyons Middle School 8th grade Promotion planned for tonight will be postponed due to weather. It is rescheduled for tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 19th at 6:00 PM.

The 8th Graders had an awesome day at FUNCITY. This was a reward for winning the competition between grade levels on improving their testing scores.

As our middle school students head into state assessment testing this week, we want to give a shout out to Sonic for donating bags and water bottles and Tara Johnson who donated snacks. Thank you for supporting our students.
