Breaking News! Our Senior Captain Nevaeh Eth has been voted MVP of the Greater Boston League this season by the league coaches! Nevaeh has been a 4 year starter at Short Stop. In her Career she reached over 100 Hits, 100 RBIs and 100 runs scored! This season she was 35-69 (.507 Average) with 9 doubles, 5 triples, 4 home runs, 36 RBIs and 41 runs scored! She also drew 21 walks and only struck out 4 times! On top of her offensive stats she finished the season with a fielding percentage of 93% She made just 7 errors on 98 chances which is outstanding!
Nevaeh will be continuing her academic and softball career at Simmons University as part of the Honors program studying Health and Exercise science.
Nevaeh has made a huge impact on the program not just on the field but off the field as well! She has been a two year captain! We are so proud of you Nevaeh! You will be missed! π₯π

Rams drop a heartbreaker 3-2 on the Road at Notre Dame Hingham. The Rams fell in a 3-0 hole after the 1st inning but didnβt quit. Jr-Emma Chevalier making her 1st start of the season in the circle as fellow Jr Aysia Olaes suffered an injury at practice and was not able to pitch. Emma went 6IP only allowed 3 hits, 1ER and had 5 strikeouts! Emma also had a hit for the Rams. Sr-Captain Nevaeh Eth had a single and scored a run. Jr-Brooke Braswell had a single and scored a run. Freshman Chloe Corbett had a rbi single. Jr-McKenna Duncan was 2-3 with a rbi single. Sophomore Kelsey Sinapius had a single and walked. Sr-Ava Cahill had a pinch hit great at bat which led to a walk. Freshman Emma Pento started at 2nd base and sophomore Liliana Parker started in right field and both girls made every play in the field. Freshman Mia Duncan was hit by a pitch, stole a base and played lights out at 3rd.
Today was a heart breaking end to a great season from the Rams. The girls battled to the final strike, gave their best effort, supported one another and were all locked in. The coaching staff is proud of this group of girls! The improvement they made from just a year ago was remarkable! Thank you to all of our fans who made the trip! Thank you for all the support during the season! Thank you to the administration and AD Mr.Mower for always taking care of the team! Thank you to Rob Smith for always supporting the girls and being at the school to give them a hand when we got back! Lastly, thank you to the Seniors (Nevaeh, Aliany and Ava) who have given everything they had to the program the last 4 years! The Rams finished 13-8 (10-4 in the GBL 3rd place)

Meet our 2nd Senior Aliany Ramirez! Aliany is a 4 year member of the Softball Program! Aliany will be attending Salem State University with a major in Social Work. Aliany worked this off-season and taught herself to pitch knowing we might need some help at that position. Aliany threw 22.1 innings for a 3-0 record and recorded 26 strike outs! This was very valuable to the team during our 11 game in 14 day stretch! At the plate she is 17 for 56 for a .304 average on the season! Aliany has worked really hard during her career at Classical and has improved every season! She is also a high honor student at Lynn Classical and a captain of the swim team! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the LCHS Softball Program! π₯π

Meet our 1st Senior Ava Cahill. Ava has been a 3 year member of the LCHS Softball program. Ava will be going to Gordon college to pursue a major in creative writing to hopefully be an author someday. Over the past two years Ava is 19-54 at the plate for a .352 batting average. Ava has spent time in the outfield and at 1st base over the past two season. Ava comes to practice / games everyday with big smile on her face ready to do whatever is needed to help the team win! Ava is also a High Honor Student at LCHS and an amazing artist! Thank you for your hard work and dedication! We will all miss you and canβt wait to see what you do in the future! π₯π

Rams Win on Sr Day! Classical - 28 Chelsea - 7! Sr-Aliany Ramirez was 4-4 with a Triple, Double, 4RBIs and 4 runs! She also pitched 5innings with 5 K! Sr-Nevaeh Eth was 2-3 with a HomeRun, Sac Fly and scored 4 runs with 2 RBIs! Sr-Ava Cahill was 1-1 with 4 walks, 4 runs and 1 RBI. Jr-Brooke Braswell was 2-3 with a Home Run, Triple 3 runs and 6 RBIs! Jr-Emma Chevalier was 2-3 with 3 runs and 3 RBI! Freshman Chloe Corbett was 1-2 with 2 runs and 1 RBI. Jr-McKenna Duncan was 1-1 with 3 runs and 1 RBI. Freshman Mia Duncan walked twice scored a run and had 1 RBI. Jr-Aysia Olaes walked twice and scored 2 runs. Sophomore Liliana Parker had a single and 2 rbi. Freshman Emma Pento walked twice and had 2 RBI. Jr-Anaih Medrano had 2 RBI. Jr-Delisha Perez-Vazquez had a hit and rbi. Freshman Kaycie Kelter scored a run for the Rams. The Rams finished the regular season 13-7 (10-4 GBL) and will wait for the playoff bracket to be released on Wednesday! Rams drop a tough one in extra innings today to Revere 10-6. The Rams led 6-1 going into the 7th and couldnβt close out the win. We will learn from it and get better! Freshman Mia Duncan was 3-4 with a sac bunt and a RBI. Sr-Captain Nevaeh Eth was 2-5 with a RBI double and scored a run. Jr- Brooke Braswell had a rbi and scored a run. Jr-Aysia Olaes scored a run. Freshman Chloe Corbett and Sophomore Kelsey Sinapius had hits. Jr-Emma Chevalier walked 3 times and scored 2 runs. Sr-Aliany Ramirez had the other RBI for the Rams. The Rams are back in action Friday vs Chelsea for their Sr Day!
