Connect for Community: School Committee Edition

This event is a space for community members to meet and engage directly with school committee members and candidates in an informal, approachable setting. There will be no panels or formal programming, just an opportunity for meaningful conversations, questions, and connection.

We’ll also have youth-focused organizations tabling at the event to share valuable resources with the community:

This event is intentionally being hosted , a space where teens build life skills, character, and leadership through mentorship, friendships, and hands-on learning. If you haven’t been to El Centro yet, this is a great chance to get to know the space and its mission.

And it’s not just rent - it’s everything.

People are being priced out, displaced, and pushed to the edge while the cost of living keeps rising and wages stay the same. This isn’t just a housing problem, it’s a justice problem.
