The Class of '65 held its 60th reunion on June 6 and 7. 14 of us gathered at Lorraine and Vinny Matteis' house on Friday evening, and a different 14 -- two from Friday couldn't make it and 2 who weren't there Friday DID make it -- gathered at the LI cafeteria for brunch on Saturday. Here's a picture from Friday afternoon. It was a good time, and we missed those of you who couldn't come.

In case anyone hasn't already seen her daughter's post on Judy Taylor's timeline, Judy fell, broke her neck and is in the hospital facing a long road to recovery. Hey Classmates!! We're finally going to get to have the reunion we were scheduled to have last year! The date is June 12th. We're going to have it at the Kingdom Campground on Rt. 5 going toward West Burke. They have an open but covered pavilion with a concrete floor, so stable place to put chairs, plenty of air circulation but protection from rain. Please plan to come! Bring a chair if you can. Bring some kind of food to share if you can. We'll provide hot dogs and hamburgers, and grills to cook them on, plus soda and water. $20 pp. Let Marion Gray or Linda Wheeler know if you plan to come! Oh, get your vaccinations first! Only people who have been vaccinated are allowed to gather in Vermont, and we're sticking to that policy! Stay safe!

It is with a heavy heart that I write to let you know that Betsy Ronan Delabruere (front row fourth from the left in the class picture above) passed away yesterday -- Sunday, October 14 -- after a long illness. We'll miss you, Betsy! Our prayers go out to her family.

Classmates are wondering how all of your who were in Irma's or Harvey's path are faring. If you live in Florida, the Houston area or another affected area would you post something and let us know you're ok? Or if you have heard from a classmate in the area, could you let the rest of us know their status? Thanks! Hope all are safe!

The dedication of the new Vail Student Center, to which the Class of '65 made its class gift, was held on October 17, 2015. It looks really nice, and students we talked to said it's packed most evenings. It's definitely something we can be proud of having supported!
