The Lynden high school jazz band will be performing at Steakhouse 9 on Wednesday evening as part of the Lynden Music Festival. Tickets for the Ballroom Blues Bash are $20 and can be purchased with the link attatched. The event runs from 6:30-9pm and the jazz band will be playing from 6:30-7pm.

Enjoy a special night of the Blues with reknowned recording star Kevin Burt. Doors open at 6:00 with a no-host bar and Special menu provided by Steakhouse 9 Bistro. Our first booster meeting of the school year is set for this coming Monday, Sept 28 at 4pm in the high school band room. Reminder that LHS band camp is this Wednesday to Friday from 6-8pm in the band room. Wednesday evening is a parent meeting at 7:30 with info about the year and opportunities to connect with the music boosters.

Congratulations to LHS Wind Ensemble in their 2nd place finish at the Anaheim Heritage Festival. We are so proud of their hard work and are thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this competition.

The LHS wind ensemble is in California for competition! They play today at 10:30. If it’s possible, we will run a live stream of the performance. Thank you all so much for your support of these students - your purchases from our fundraisers make it possible for these students to attend!

Congratulations to both our Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band for earning a rating of “superior” at the San Juan Music Educators Adjudication yesterday. This marks 32 consecutive years of superior ratings, and the first time in recent years the Symphonic Band has been brought to SJMEA. Congratulations LHS Bands!
