Can you believe it, Huskies?! The school year is almost over, and we want to take a moment to recognize the many people who dedicated their time, energy, and hard work to helping our school community thrive this year. From volunteering at events to supporting teachers and students behind the scenes, every contribution made a difference. Thank you to everyone who helped make this school year such a success! 💚🐾
As we look ahead to next year, we’ll need more helping hands to continue making amazing things happen for our students and staff. If you’re interested in getting involved with our PTO, we’d love to have you! Please reach out to [email protected] to learn more. Together, we can make next year even better!

Thank you to Sam's Club and the Al Stroobant’s Foundation! We are so happy to see our community pour into our school. 💚🐾
Our gratitude is extended to The Al Stroobants Foundation and Sam's Club for sponsoring Classroom Innovation Grants through the Ed Foundation and bringing a Sensory Swing to Bedford Hills Elementary School.
Ms. Corey Mattox, an occupational therapist, began integrating the sensory swing into therapy sessions to address both sensory needs and physical deficits that students receiving occupational and speech therapy often exhibit. "By addressing these needs and deficits in a fun and engaging manner using the sensory swing and individualized 'just-right' challenges, students’ behavioral and academic performance during therapy sessions and in the classroom were positively impacted. Additionally, the sensory swing continues to address physical deficits related to core strength and motor skills."
