WELCOME BACK JON LOMBARDO ‘12!

As a student-athlete at Lynchburg, Lombardo started throughout his career (2009-12) and was named captain as a junior, as well as being named 1st Team All-ODAC, 1st Team All-State, and a USILA All-American as a senior.

After graduation, Jon spent seven seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Lynchburg from 2012-2019. He coached in multiple roles, including defensive coordinator, co-offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator.

From 2020 to 2026, Lombardo served as director of athletics and head men’s lacrosse coach at St. Mary’s Ryken High School, and was the 2025 WCAC Coach of the year.

We are excited to welcome Jon and his family back to Lynchburg!!!!
