For anyone who is not aware, Liberty has decided to defund the campus farm. The campus farm is currently still operating as normal, but will no longer be associated with Liberty come June. This means that the farm will no longer be accessible to students.
The farm is not only a place where students can go to learn practical life skills, but also a place to learn and practice Christian stewardship of the land. In an attempt to persuade Liberty that the farm is a critical component of our education, we will be writing letters to President Falwell.
There is a room reserved for Tuesday, February 21 at 6:15 pm in Science Hall room 351. If you or your friends are able to, please come out! There is no way that we can keep the farm from being closed unless students show their support!
