After more than two decades leading Liberty Christian football, Coach Frank Rocco is stepping aside as head coach. State championships. Playoff runs. And most importantly, generations of young men shaped through this program.

Tonight we sat down with Coach Rocco and the man stepping into the role, Coach Tyler Meeks. Coach Meeks played here, coached here, and knows the culture and mission that have defined LCA football for so many years.

This conversation looks back at the journey of the program, what has made Bulldog football unique, and what the future holds.

Coach Rocco’s legacy at LCA will be felt for years to come. And the next chapter of Bulldog football is getting ready to begin.

Liberty Christian Academy Announces Retirement of Legendary Head Football Coach Frank Rocco
Retirement effective at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year.

After 20 seasons leading the Bulldogs, Coach Rocco’s influence on our football program and the lives of our student-athletes is immeasurable. His legacy of leadership, faith, and commitment has shaped generations and will forever be part of LCA history.

We are deeply grateful for his service and wish him continued strength, health, and joy with his family in this next chapter.
