lley Stream and 90 Henry Street, Inwood, we provide a quality learning environment for children in Lynbrook, Valley Stream, East Rockaway, the Five Towns (Inwood, Lawrence, Woodmere, Cedarhurst, Hewlett) and neighboring communities. Our curriculum involves the aspects of social, academic, emotional, and physical development of children while giving them the chance to play and explore. We also offer a learning based, travel and in-house program for Kindergarten through 12 years old. It is available during vacation breaks and throughout the summer break. All teachers are CPR/First aid trained and NYS qualified to teach Early Childhood Education. Each is carefully selected based on their ability to provide students with the utmost compassion and care. Our educational philosophy is based on Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Our program provides the opportunity to accommodate learning through different methods and at each child's own pace. Classrooms are equipped to encourage writing, math, science, and reading skills. Children also daily engage in art, block and creative play. In addition to recognizing developmental milestones, we encourage creativity, discovery, and experimentation. Formal family/teacher conferences are complimented by the ability of parents to observe their child any time through observation windows and closed circuit tv monitoring. Various assessment tools are used to document your child's progress and Parent-Teacher conferences are held semi-annually to communicate your child's development. Each Kids Campus Early Childhood Learning Center has outdoor play area to encourage physical fitness and the opportunity to develop gross motor skills year round. Our menus are developed and reviewed by nutritionists from the NYS Children and Adult Food Program. We provide a nutritious breakfast and hot lunch plus the two snacks a day.
