Our young 4-H’ers recently completed an incredible series of hands-on projects that put their innovation and leadership on full display!

From crafting unique art using recycled materials and nature finds to challenges like designing a movable cardboard hand, these students proved what happens when science, art, and environmental stewardship come together.

The ingenuity and enthusiasm showed the true spirit of 4-H: hands-on learning, community engagement, and leading by example.

We are so proud of our 4-H’ers! A big thank you to the educators, local 4-H leader, and parents who encourage our students to explore, create, and innovate every day.

Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day!

Behind every clean hallway, shining classroom, and smooth school day is a team that works endlessly to keep our school running safely and brightly. Today, we greeted our amazing custodial team with a few gifts to say a huge thank you for everything they do.

We are so lucky to have the best custodians around!

Talk about a VIP departure! Today, our top 10 Eagle Strut fundraisers were treated to the ultimate celebration!

Their day kicked off with a grand exit from the school, complete with cheering classmates lining the road to wave them goodbye.

Next stop? Thunder Alley! Our superstar raisers spent the day bowling, battling it out in laser tag, and running wild in the arcade.

Huge congratulations to our top 10! Thank you for going above and beyond for our school. You earned every bit of today’s fun!

What an INCREDIBLE day at EHIS! 🦅✨

Our students had an absolute blast from start to finish! The energy was high all day long as students enjoyed:

- Pieing their teachers in the face
- Tattooing their teachers
- Playing awesome class games on the football field
- Walking the track and showing their “Eagle Strut”
- Watching Mrs. Kathy get pied

We want to send a huge thank you to all of our amazing students, supportive parents, and generous community members! Your support and generous donations to our Eagle Strut go directly toward improving our school and creating the best possible environment for our students.

We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for making this year's Eagle Strut an unforgettable success!

🦅 Eagle Strut Week 3 Challenge: Leave a Mark!

It’s time to show our school spirit and help us reach our big goal! For Week 3, we’re challenging students to find as many people as possible to donate $5.

Here’s what’s on the line:

Tattoo a Teacher: Every $5 raised this week equals 1 temporary tattoo students get to choose and place on a participating teacher!

Schoolwide Goal: If we hit our $25,000 total goal, selected staff members will sleep on top of the school roof for the night!

Deadline: All Week 3 donations are due Monday, September 21st.

Let's make this week count! Let’s get out there, spread the word, and put our teachers on the roof!
