In Her Hands

Looking to rehome this cute little pup. He’s 9 weeks and a lab/pit mix. He has been dewormed and got his first round of shots. One of my youth got the pup a week ago but is unable to care for him. She has until Monday to rehome the pup or she will have to take him to the pound.

You will be responsible for taking care of youth age 12-17 in our residential facility. These youth have been removed from their home. You are responsible for implementing residents activities, following the daily schedule and providing transportation when needed. You must be able to model what a structured but compassionate parent should look like, along with being a life-skills teacher and a role model for the residents to look up to. Shifts available are:

Responsibilities:

Ability to demonstrate advanced leadership skills in working with children and coworkers.
Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
Promotes the development of life and academic skills to all youth in the home.
Be responsible for timely and accurate communication within program (e.g. incident reports, verbal reports, shift documentation).
Provides a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment for youth.
Administering medication
Provides transportation for residents to legal and medical appointments, activity outings, etc.
Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
Participate in 40 hours of in-service training annually and 21 in-service hours prior to working with the residents.

Shifts Available: Every Other Sa & Su 7am-7pm; Every Other Sa & Su 7pm-7am.
