Our year of diving into learning about swimming creatures is coming to a close. A school wide field trip to enjoy God’s amazing creatures was a super fun day! Thank you to Jill for organizing and making this happen for so many families!!!

In a world where there is so much change, it’s especially great to know that many things at TCCS have not changed….including the enjoyable smell coming from Mrs Shami’s classroom on applesauce day!

THANKFUL for a beautiful day for TCCS's 2nd "5K"! Way to go students as we are so proud of you - not only your hard work to prepare, but for your support for each others as those who finished first went back to run alongside and cheer on their classmates!!!

"Religion is all about what I do. The gospel is all about what Jesus has done. Religion is about me. The gospel is about Jesus. Religion highlights my efforts to do what is right. The gospel highlights what Christ has already done. Religion lures me to believe that if I obey God, he will love me. But the gospel shows me that because God loves me, I get to obey him. Religion puts the burden on us. We have to do what is right. A relationship with Christ puts the burden on him. And because of what he did for us, we get to do what is right. Instead of an obligation, our right living is a response to his gift." -Craig Groeschel, Soul Detox

A reminder about MAKING IT A GREAT-"FUL" DAY....
The Grumble Free Year book, written by Tricia Goyer, explains how her family of 11 - 2 parents, 8 kids, and a grandmother with dementia strived to stop grumbling. She said, “Cultivating a grateful attitude was not for the fainthearted. Lips that are quick to praise instead of grumble do not appear overnight.” As she related their experiences, her encouraging words explained why when she wrote, “How can writing down gratitudes help? It is a physical way to celebrate a God-given emotion. Gratefulness is evidence of God working within our souls. Gratitude is an outpouring of what’s inside, and taking note of our gratitude reminds our kids that when we are grateful there’s someone we need to thank: God.”
