A HUGE HONOR AND AN EVEN BIGGER REASON TO CELEBRATE! 💙🎉

We are beyond proud to celebrate our amazing school counselor, Lori Gonzales, who was recognized as Elementary Counselor of the Year and then named STATE COUNSELOR OF THE YEAR today at the Louisiana Counseling Association Conference! 🏆✨

This incredible honor reflects the heart, dedication, and passion she brings to our students, families, and school community every single day. She makes a lasting difference in the lives of so many, and we are so blessed to have her on our team!

Sometimes, the best way to handle a worry is to let it out!💭🗑️

After reading The Worry Monster, Mrs. G’s counseling students had the chance to draw their worries and then toss them away. This simple activity helped students see that they don’t have to keep their worries bottled up—talking about them, drawing them, and letting them go can help make those worries feel a little smaller. 💛

We’re so proud of our students for practicing healthy ways to recognize and manage their feelings! 🌟
