Good evening, dear friends of Q***r Craft Club,

Some may have already heard the news, but my partner and I are relocating to Spokane, Washington.

This was such a difficult and heavy decision for us to make. We love our community here in Deep East Texas and all the beautiful souls that are a part of it.

However, as two q***r trans men in Texas, life here is becoming increasingly difficult. I am disabled by severe rheumatoid arthritis, and it is getting challenging to safely access the healthcare I need as I get further along in my transition as a trans man and the care my disease needs.

It has also been difficult for me to find employment as a visibly q***r and trans person.

What does this mean for Q***r Craft Club?

Q***r Craft Club isn't going anywhere! I've been working hard behind the scenes to ensure QCC stays alive and well, even with me moving to Washington! Our dear friends, Lavender Lighthouse, will be helping as hosts for monthly meetups and collaborations with QCC. And I'll still be helping from afar, thanks to technology, dreaming up crafts and guides for crafts!

When I started QCC over a year ago, I never could have imagined the impact it would have on our community here. It has been one of my greatest honors to help spread so much joy during these difficult times. And I hope to continue to spread that joy for years to come.

MOVIE NIGHT FOR A CAUSE!!
Bring your comfy clothes and blankets this Saturday night, come spend some time with your community and watch a movie with us to fundraise for our upcoming free community meal program!

local artists, get excited!! join us at the green room theatre for a night of self expression and q***r joy 🩵 free to enter and free to sign up! please note that parking may be limited at the event so we encourage carpooling where possible!

This event is a perfect opportunity for any new performers to dip their toes in, including drag queens/kings, musicians, poets, or anyone with a talent they are interested in sharing! There will be a link to a performer sign up form in our bio if you’d like to get a head start, or we will have a performance sign up sheet at the event itself if you’d prefer.

due to Texas’ weirdo drag laws this event will be 18+ only! ID’s will be checked at the entrance so please come prepared!
