The Texas Tech Horse Judging team teaches students to judge confirmation and performance of horses in the Western and English disciplines. It also builds skills such as public speaking, professional presentation and critical thinking. The judging team also gives students the opportunity to meet industry professionals during the season. We are pleased to introduce our newest recruit to the TTU Horse Judging Team, Sarah Gardner, from Silver City, New Mexico!
Sarah is transferring from Clarendon College, will be majoring in Animal Science/ Pre- Vet, and brings with her a strong background and passion in horse judging! We are so excited to have her join our program and continue to grow!

We got to round off an amazing weekend and year with our State FFA Horse Judging Contest!!! Congratulations to all of the contestants!!🏆
We are so grateful for all of our volunteers that came out to help and everyone who worked hard to put this together!!
This was our last team event for the spring and we are all looking forward to working hard over the summer!! We are so grateful for all of the knowledge and guidance we have received over this year from Dr. John Pipkin and Haley Bucher!

We had a great time in Gainesville, TX this week at the National Horse Judging Team Coaches Association Spring Sweepstakes contest!!
