Desert Sky Engineering and Hydrology

Desert Sky Engineering and Hydrology is proud to announce that George R. Herrmann, Ph.D, P.E., P.H, D.WRE has completed the Wildland Hydrology Level III River Assessment and Monitoring and Level IV River Restoration and Natural Channel Design short courses. These courses are each 10 days in length. They involve extensive field data collection and reduction, as well as calculations. The focus on the sediment transport and the natural processes by which streams are formed in the alluvial environment, as well as factors that can disrupt those natural processes and result in aggradation, degradation, and instability of stream systems. Desert Sky is qualified and available to consult on those topics.
