We are ready for Fort Worth! We got the best surprise send off from the entire district. My girls were so incredibly proud and honored. Several said it was the best feeling ever because they are usually the ones doing the sendoff, not receiving it. Also shoutout to the cheer mamas for the awesome goody bags!

Our hearts are heavy as we lift up two students, Kobe Pena from Monterrey High School and Truett Mortensen from New Home High School who have tragically passed away. We pray for their families, friends, classmates, teachers, and school staff during this incredibly painful time. May God wrap each family in His peace, comfort the brokenhearted, and give strength to every student and educator affected by this loss. May we continue to keep one another covered in love, grace, and prayer. 🙏 🕊️
