Kindergarten was on the move today!

Our littlest learners went on a school-wide scavenger hunt looking for Pete the Cat! 👀🐱 They searched high, they searched low, and got to explore all around Upland Heights along the way!

What better way to learn your way around school than with Pete leading the adventure?!
It’s all good!

We are excited to bring Dance Connect to Upland Heights!
Through a partnership with Ballet Lubbock and Communities in Schools, 3rd–5th grade students have the opportunity to receive FREE dance instruction every Thursday right here at UH!
We still have a few spots available, and we would love for your student to join us! Space is limited, and once all spots are filled, additional students will be placed on a waiting list.

Friendly reminder! To help our students and staff settle into their new routines, we will not have lunch visitors from August 19–28. Thank you for giving everyone a little time to adjust to the new school year! We look forward to welcoming our lunch visitors beginning August 31!

The first day of school is officially in the books—and what a wonderful day it was! Our halls were filled with smiling faces, happy reunions, and so much excitement for the year ahead. We’re already off to an amazing start at Upland Heights! Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, and memories!

Tomorrow, our halls will be filled with little voices, big smiles, and all the excitement of a brand-new school year.

But today, we slowed down for just a little bit. We decorated clipboards, laughed together, and soaked in these last few moments before the busy begins.

There’s something pretty special about starting a new year with people who truly enjoy doing life—and school—together. Here’s to a great year at UH!
