Lubbock-Cooper High School Choir Boosters

To help support TMEA activities in San Antonio next week, we will be postponing the Booster meeting until Tuesday, February 16th at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you then.

Lubbock friends- (especially those with kids that need community service hours) if you are available this Saturday morning from 900am to about 1200pm, Cooper North Elementary could use a little help. They are having their 1st Fun Run and need folks on the course to point the way and cheer almost 200 runners on! If you can help, please contact Andi Babineaux or the North Elementary office. Let's help support our Cooper family!
They can pay you in hot chocolate and cookies!!

5k walk to benefit Cystic Fibrosis

Come out and show your support of the LCHS Choir tonight from 5-9pm. You do not need the flier, just tell them you are there for the Choir. See you there!

Next Choir meeting will be Tuesday, April 14th at 6 pm in the Choir Room. We will be discussing the Banquet as well as electing new officers for the 2015-2016 year. We are needing to fill the Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer positions.

LCHS Choir is having an amazing year so far! We have our first student in the TMEA State Choir this year. Congratulations Jared Pendergrass!! Good luck next month.
We have 15 students that are advancing to the State Solo and Ensemble competition in May: Courtney Sanders, BJ Herrera, Angelo Gomez, Brianna Parrish, Johnathan Curtis, Zane Jewell, Emily Nixon, Cole Fewin, Luke Ortiz, Jared Pendergrass, Lauren Gallagher, Ryan Martinez, Nick Jiou, Lexi Lopez, and Whitney Gould.
Congratulations to everyone that auditioned. We are so proud of all of you.

A few of our students stopped by for some pizza and to carve some pumpkins to donate to the Pumpkin Trail at the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum.
