Schoolhouse Chock

I love when we can all learn together. 🥰 Science is Simon’s favorite- he is all about animals and every single thing we learned about North American animals today he expanded on even more than I could. 😍

On this week’s episode: The jungle gym has become THE place to do your work 😜, Milo is learning color words, outdoor play with the older kids, we are currently learning about space, a field trip with some of our friends to the Ranching Heritage Center, and dad came home from a work trip. 🖤

We are loving this life. 🫶🏼

We went on a nature walk this morning with our learning pod. We collected leaves, feathers, acorns, and looked for squirrels, bugs, and ducks!

Then we came home and talked about the map and where our place on the map is. The boys drew their rooms and our house. I’m TERRIBLE at geography, but we read a book and found the places listed in the book on a globe- even Sri Lanka! I’m, I mean they are, going to learn so much in geography this year! 😜

We visited a splash pad this week with most of our friends. My babies are making the best friends- I’m really excited about our group! 😍

A day spent in the mud is a day well spent. 🖤

Watching these guys grow into best friends is easily one of the best parts of my job. 😍

Our littlest cutie is enjoying all the nice weather we’ve been having lately! 🖤

Spring is in the air and we always start the month off by painting a new piece of art for our door display. ☘️

I love how you can see the progression of their hand grasps from fi**ed, to pronated, and then tripod grip. Watching these guys grow and learn is the most fascinating thing! 🖤

We made messes… ahem… memories creating suncatchers for our schoolroom. 😜 The littles worked their fine motor skills tearing and placing paper and then loved watching the sun shine through their creations! ❄️❄️❄️

I think at this point she’s realizing how many letters are in her name. 🤪

We are so excited for longer days soon! My tiny humans LOVE playing outside no matter how cold it is- so we bundle up and make the most of it every chance we get. 🖤 Here’s to warmer months ahead!
