Art in City Hall City of Lowell, MA - Government Like Lowell and the Abisi Adult Education Center are proud to present The Humans of AAEC Project, running today through July 31st, 2026!

Inspired by Humans of New York (HONY), our ESOL students have courageously put pen to paper to share windows into their lives. From the emotional realities of relocating to a new country to the fierce determination it takes to return to school as an adult, these stories represent the heart, resilience, and diversity of Greater Lowell.

Join us for the Opening Reception:
🗓️ Tuesday, July 14, 2026
⏰ 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM (Arrive on time so you don't miss a thing!)
📍 Lowell City Hall Lobby (375 Merrimack St, Lowell, MA)
🎶 Featuring live music, light refreshments, and a chance to celebrate our student writers and photographer Ratana Heng.

The exhibit is FREE and open to the public during normal City Hall hours all month long.
