We are very grateful to Rockland Trust Foundation for their generous donation to the Arete Award Scholarships, helping to shape the futures of these hardworking and dedicated students.

Latin Lyceum students volunteer at St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen on April 3rd with Xylem Water Solutions. Xylem honored the volunteers this school year with a Volunteer Appreciation Award

There will be an LLLPA meeting this Wednesday in the LHS Main Cafe/Office at 7pm.

We will be reviewing scholarship applications so any help is greatly appreciated.

Latin Lyceum students are invited to volunteer at St. Paul Soup Kitchen at the Eliot Church on April 3rd. The first 4-5 students to respond will be able to volunteer. We also need a parent to volunteer. Note, that this date is Good Friday. Please email [email protected] if you would like to volunteer and I will give you the rest of the information.

SAVE THE DATE: The Arete Award Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 28, 6:00pm (doors open 5:30), at the Burgoyne Theater, in the Freshman Academy.

This year our speaker is Tahina Montoya, an LHS Latin Lyceum and ROTC alumni.

Awards will be given for The Kerouac Book Prize, The Aeneas Award, The Maribeth O-Neil Award, The Harvard Prize Book Award, and scholarships will be given to all seniors eligible for Athletis, Humanitas and Scolaris Awards. Every Senior will receive a certificate, a Latin Lyceum Pin to wear on their graduation sash and a white Latin Lyceum graduation cord.

REMINDER: Senior Arete Award Scholarships applications are due this Friday, March 27th. You can turn in your application to your advisory teacher, or Mr. H.

Latin Lyceum students volunteered around the community this month, at Lowell’s Winterfest, and at St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen at Eliot Church.

Latin Lyceum Parent Association will be meeting in-person at the cafeteria at LHS on Wednesday, March 11, at 7:00pm.

Parents will also have the option to attend online. See the zoom invitation below.

Attention Families of Latin Lyceum Seniors: Your senior was emailed a copy of the Latin Lyceum Scholarship Application. I am including it here as well. Please encourage them to fill it out and submit it to their advisory teacher by March 27th. We are excited to support these hardworking students in their next endeavors by giving out as many scholarships as possible.
