Here's a setup for a single leg. The important part is staying active with the setup hand and then transitioning it to the inside tie. Once you get there you'll be able to feel if its a green light to hit your single leg.

In the wrestling world, parents, athletes, and coaches can all get wrapped up in seeking external validation and approval.

That validation might come from college recruiting, the approval of a high school or club coach, likes and follows on social media, money, rankings, recognition, or status.

It seems to be part of being human. We all seek validation in some way.

The challenge is learning to appreciate recognition when it comes without becoming dependent on it or driven by it. Don’t let external validation determine your self-worth or become the reason you participate in wrestling.

Wrestle because it’s fun. Wrestle because it’s challenging. Wrestle because the process can help make you a better version of yourself.
