The secret is officially out… last Thursday at Field Day, SMOY officially unveiled our brand new Silverhawk mascot — SWOOP!

As if today couldn't get any more exciting following the unexpected early release - SMOY PTO will be working with EPI school supplies for the upcoming 26/27 school year to provide students with everything they need from the teacher approved supply list!! All bundled into one nice, easy peasy kit! Also, hope you're sitting down because even more exciting news - 10% of each kit ordered goes directly back to SMOY PTO!! 🎉 The link for ordering will be available soon.

In previous years, we worked with a different school supply company, and their prices continued to rise along with their shipping costs, making it difficult for some families to justify using this service. However, Monica Wilson scoured the interwebs far and wide to find the best pricing and options for our SMOY families! Along with competitive prices, the students supply kits will ALL be shipped directly to SMOY so there will be no shipping cost to families. The kits will arrive fairly close to the beginning of our school start date. We will have a table set up during School Supply Drop Off Night and families can pick up their ordered kits there. If you aren't able to make that night, we can coordinate getting your students supplies to you.

SMOY PTO is collecting raffle prizes for SMOY Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th-8th). We have some great items so far and are looking for a few more!

Over the years, home cooked meals have been very popular! Not into cooking?! Restaurant gift cards also make for a great meal!

Would like to make a meal, donate a gift certificate or item that could be used for the raffle? If so, please let Nikki Bunch, Mallory Burchnall, or Bridget Meerdink! We can pickup from the drop-off or pick-up line!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is coming up May 4–8, and we need your help!

Our amazing SMOY teachers and staff show up for our kids every single day—let’s show up for them with heartfelt notes of appreciation.
