Captain the Morstang

Captain is all ready to celebrate the New Year, the Year of the Horse! He hitched a ride to NYC, and made it through security in Times Square just in time to celebrate.

Bill did a really good job trimming and balancing my feet today. It was much easier because Bill started using some new homeopathic stuff that makes my aches and pains feel much better. We took our time, too, and I explained how I wanted them to feel afterwards. He did it exactly like I asked, so, of course I HAD to give him a nice big sloppy lick on the face, complete with residual timothy pellet slime! LOL!!!

Well, everybody, including me, got a bath today. It was getting warm, so the cool water felt good. I even enjoyed the mist from the hose getting my face all wet and drippy. While drip-drying, Bill let me munch on some sweet, green grass. I could go for this bath thing more often if the grass stays sweet and tasty!

Here Bill is using my pain-free pad on my sore shoulder/elbow. AH-H-H, that’s the ticket.

So, Bill turned 3 of us out yesterday, and I guess I got a little too rambunctious. Anyway, I hurt my shoulder again, and am now walking like an old man. You know, kinda like Bill! LOL! Anyway, Bill took some nice, cold water out of the hose to my aches, and after a while they started to feel better. He said I had to stay inside for a couple days except for hosing off and light walking with him. Oh well, at least I get to eat delicious grass when he and I take walks.

I was feeling so much better today, and told Bill so, thinking he might let me out again. No dice!!! URGGGH!!!

But, I did get some yummy apple to eat before he left. He and I hung out for a while, just breathing together. I can tell those are Bill's favorite times.

All in all, a pretty good day today, I suppose. Hopefully I'll be right as rain tomorrow!
