Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It is observed on the last Monday of May. It is also considered to be the unofficial beginning of summer.
We thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

“I’ve been the day lead custodian at Namaqua Elementary School for the past eight years, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the best staff in the district—people who consistently support one another and, more importantly, show genuine care and compassion for every child who walks through these doors. I will miss the students more than anything.”

May Day, celebrated annually on May 1st, is a dual-purpose holiday marking both ancient spring festivals and International Workers' Day. It is a public holiday in many nations, featuring worker rallies, labor protests, and traditional festivities like dancing around a maypole and gathering flowers to welcome the spring season. Happy May Day!
