FINDING YOUR OWN VOICE
workshop
The workshop runs from 9:30am to 2:30pm
with 50 minutes for a delicious lunch and informal conversation
TO REGISTER GO TO: WWW.DIVERSECOLLABORATIONS.COM
What exactly is FINDING YOUR OWN VOICE®?
FINDING YOUR OWN VOICE is an empowering wellness workshop designed to help women connect with and strengthen the very core of our own unique wisdom and purpose. During the workshop participants have the opportunity to relax, focus on their own needs and dreams, and explore their creativity as a tool to access their inner sage. Creative and (supposedly) non-creative women are welcome!
What happens during the workshop?
The workshop consists on guided creative exercises, useful information about the creative process as well as about the energy centers of the body, short walks in a beautiful setting, a healthy lunch, and a closing mindful meditation. Each of the guided exercises facilitated by mari becomes part of a toolbox that participants take with them to access at any time after the workshop when one is in need of clarity or even just a peaceful and recharging moment. The informal, yet structured format of the workshop allows for quiet inward creative work and written reflections. The focus is on the individual and her needs and sharing is completely optional. Each participant can choose to experience each moment of the workshop for herself alone, or to share as little or as much as she wants, whatever feels right for her. Participants, however, oftentimes find an empowering and supportive community in one another.
Workshop Fees
Fees are based on ability to pay. A minimum donation of $35 is suggested. However, no matter how much participants are able to pay, their presence and participation is considered a valuable addition to the community that we create together at the workshop. Barter is also an option.
When you pay $50, I am better able to provide healthy food for lunch and snacks. Contributing $75 helps also pay for materials and an art-kit for all participants to take home. If you can afford to pay $100 or more, please do so. One hundred dollars will pay for the time I spend planning, advertising, preparing food, and preparing and facilitating the workshop. Your contribution of $125 or $150 makes it possible for other women to participate regardless of financial constraints, and supports my ongoing development in mindfulness, creativity and compassion so that I can continue to provide better workshops and services for all.
