Captain’s log for Cosmic Color Walk: FINAL WEEK

A few reminders as we head into the LAST DAY before Color Walk 2026!
🗓️ Date Change!
Due to the weather forecast for Friday, The Color Walk Committee & Administration have moved the day for the walk from Friday to Thursday (tomorrow).

🎟️Last chance to purchase raffles!
Website will close tonight & winners will be drawn tomorrow.

👟 Wear old shoes!
Please send your child in shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting colorful. The color can get messy! (And pack a towel in your car for pick up they can sit on).

🙋‍♀️ Volunteers:
If you are volunteering for the Color Walk, you will not be able to take your child home with you after the event. All students must follow their normal dismissal plan. You will need to get into the carpool line and pick them up as usual, or they will ride the bus if that is their normal transportation.

🚗 No early dismissal during the Color Walk:
For safety and logistics, we cannot dismiss students once the Color Walk has started.

A few reminders as we head into the fifth week of Color Walk donating! Our LAST drawings for Candy Bouquets & a Dress Down Day will be this Friday!
⭐️$100 Raised = Entry into weekly candy bouquet
⭐️$250 Raised = Entry into Dress Down Day

To find them, simply go to the Color Walk Donation page (https://stpatrickcolorwalk.betterworld.org/campaigns/color-walk-2026), and click on the text at the top of the page that says “Organized by St. Patrick”. From there you will be directed to where all the raffles are listed, can read their detailed descriptions and purchase any you’d like to be entered to win! They will stay open until 9/30 & the winners will be drawn the morning of Color Walk!

⭐️PTO IN ACTION⭐️

As we’re in the season of Color Walk, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the things your donations go towards!
While everyone was busy in the hustle and bustle of back to school prep, we had some committees working hard behind the scenes to make sure the kids were welcomed back properly!
☘️Welcome Committee: Distributed yard signs and emails to ensure new families felt the Celtic love
☘️Spirit Wear: Met with our new vendor & established our new website (link in bio)
☘️Back To School Fair: Hosted a wonderful event to greet everyone back to campus
☘️School Supply Kits: Organized and distributed to your kids classrooms
☘️Emergency Buckets & Recess Equipment: Restocked & Replenished
☘️Hospitality Committee: Hosted our BooHoo WaHoo Breakfast for Kindergarten families
