Not your abilities. Your influence.

There are people — specific people — waiting on the other side of your obedience.

And most of us, if we're honest, are playing smaller than we're called to because we haven't fully reckoned with that.

It doesn't matter what role you're in. Children's ministry. Worship. Admin. Nonprofit leadership. Campus ministry.

The impact of your yes reaches further than you can see from where you're standing.

Ask yourself this week: Who benefits when I fully step into my calling?

Let that answer move you forward. 💛

15/04/2026

Sharing this because it's true — and I think you've lived it too.

If you're in a season where your calling feels fuzzy — don't just go deeper alone. Reach out.

God often uses people to say what we already know but can't quite hear ourselves.

Confidence doesn’t grow through overthinking.

It grows when you stop second-guessing every decision and start taking the next faithful step forward.

You don’t have to have perfect certainty.

You need clarity, support, and courage to move.

This is what it means to lead with confidence — not louder, but steadier.

💬 Where do you tend to second-guess yourself most?

23/03/2026

Confidence doesn’t come from waiting.

It comes from moving forward — one faithful step at a time.

Not a leap.
 Not perfection.
 Just your next step.

You are capable of more than you think… especially with support around you.

💬 What’s one next step you know you need to take?

Women lead more effectively when they’re supported, encouraged, and reminded that they’re not carrying it all by themselves.

Isolation shrinks courage.
 Connection strengthens it.

💬 Who helps you feel steady in your leadership?

Ever had your thoughts just… run away on you?

Like one moment you’re fine, and the next your brain is spinning scenarios you never even meant to think about?

Yeah. Me too.

Especially in this season with my health — finding out about the brain tumor, preparing for surgery — there have definitely been moments where my thoughts tried to spiral.

And honestly? This isn’t just a “health thing.”
It’s a human thing. A leadership thing. A life thing.

Here’s what I’m practicing daily:

✨ Capture the thought
✨ Renew my mind
✨ Filter it through truth

Philippians 4:8 has been grounding me:

Whatever is true.
Whatever is noble.
Whatever is right.
Whatever is pure.
Whatever is lovely.
Whatever is admirable…

Think about these things.

This isn’t fluffy faith talk.
It’s how we keep anxiety (fear) from taking over.
It’s how we stay steady when life feels uncertain.

If your thoughts have felt loud lately:

There’s nothing wrong with you.
Just gently bring them back to truth.

💛 And if you need community, prayer, or encouragement in this season — that’s part of why the Ministry Chick Network exists. None of us was meant to carry life or leadership alone.

💬 Have you ever had a thought spiral lately? What helps you reset?

February is about strengthening the foundation.

And one of the most stabilizing foundations for women in ministry is simple: community that lasts.

People who understand.
Support that stays.
Friendships that carry you through hard seasons.

You don’t have to build your calling alone.

What does real support look like for you right now?

22/02/2026

Gratitude isn’t a personality trait. It’s a leadership practice.

And honestly? Some seasons make that choice harder than others.

Right now, I’m navigating many unknowns regarding my health. There are moments that feel heavy, uncertain, even scary.

But I’ve made a decision in this season:
I’m going to look for where God is showing up — every single day.

Not because everything feels easy.
Not because I have all the answers.
But because perspective shapes endurance.

So I started something simple:

A gratitude journal.
Three things a day.
Where I saw God.
What reminded me I’m supported.
What gave me hope.

And here’s what I’m noticing:

Women carry more than most people realize.

Responsibility. Expectations. Spiritual weight. Emotional labor. Family needs. Health realities. Financial pressure.

If we don’t intentionally look for God in the middle of that, exhaustion wins.

But gratitude?

It steadies you.
It reminds you you’re not alone.
It reconnects you to purpose when things feel messy.

Sometimes gratitude is big.

Sometimes it’s:

A kind text.
A friend praying for you.
A good church service after a hard stretch.
A moment of peace you didn’t expect.

This isn’t about pretending everything is fine.

It’s about anchoring yourself in what’s still true:

God is present.
Community matters.
And support makes leadership sustainable.

If this season feels heavy for you, too — you’re not alone.

Drop one thing you’re grateful for below.

Let’s remind each other that God is still moving, even here.

Weekend reminder: Be present.

Not productive.
Not perfect.
Not pushing harder.
Just present.

This week I’ve been thinking a lot about kindness — especially kindness toward ourselves when life doesn’t look how we planned.

And one way that shows up?

Learning to slow down enough to actually be where you are.

Because when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or disrupted (and I know many of us are there right now), the temptation is to:

Rush ahead.
Worry about what’s next.
Or mentally check out altogether.

But presence builds foundation.
Presence with God.
Presence with people.
Presence with your own heart.

Sometimes strengthening the foundation looks like:

✨ Rest without guilt
✨ Time with people who steady you
✨ Quiet moments with Jesus
✨ Doing something simple that brings peace
✨ Letting yourself breathe

This weekend, give yourself permission to be present — not pressured.

And if this season feels heavy for you, you’re not alone. Community matters more than ever right now.

💛 What helps you stay present when life feels full?

19/02/2026

Be kind. Especially to yourself.

This season hasn’t looked anything like I thought it would.

Some plans paused.
Some expectations shifted.
Some days heavier than I expected.

And one thing I keep coming back to is this:

Kindness matters — toward others, but toward yourself too.

Because life disruptions aren’t easy.
Health stuff. Family stuff. Ministry stuff.
Unexpected diagnoses. Emotional weight. Uncertainty.

And honestly? Many people are carrying difficult things quietly right now.

Some of you have shared about cancer, job loss, stress, or just feeling overwhelmed. And I want you to know:

I see you.
I’m praying for you.
And you don’t have to carry it alone.

And if you’re in a steadier season right now (praise God for that), let this be a reminder to lead with extra kindness — because you never really know what someone else is walking through.

Kindness won’t fix everything.
But it can make the day lighter — for you and someone else.

💛 And if you’re needing real community, prayer, or support right now — that’s part of why the Ministry Chick Network exists. A place where women link arms so leadership and life don’t feel so lonely.

If this resonates:

❤️ Drop a heart.
🙏 Please share a prayer request if you have one.
👯‍♀️ And extend a little extra kindness today — to yourself and someone else.

This one feels especially personal for me right now.

With everything surrounding this brain tumor journey — tests, appointments, uncertainty — I’ve had to slow down in ways I didn’t plan.

And honestly? It’s been a reminder I needed.

Before building bigger, we have to strengthen the foundation.

For me in this season, that looks like:

• leaning into my church community
• letting people pray for me instead of always being the one praying
• simplifying where I can
• protecting rhythms that keep me grounded in Christ
• focusing on what matters most, not what looks impressive

Leadership doesn’t get weaker when you strengthen the foundation.
It actually gets steadier.

If you’re in a season where things feel slower, messy, or uncertain — that doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Sometimes He’s building deeper so you can carry more later.
