Westport Middle School

One of Westport’s community partners is Northeast Christian Church who will help us with a campus cleanup event as a part of the “Love the Ville” campaign on Sunday, July 26th at 9:00am.

At each of the “Love the Ville” campaign schools volunteers will help with the following:
• Pull weeds in landscape beds and garden
• Spread mulch
• Trim bushes
• General cleaning
If you are willing to join this effort, we would love to have all the help we can get to make sure our campus is beautiful heading into the start of the school year.

If you can help and have items such as rakes, brooms, hedge trimmers, wheelbarrows, gloves, etc. we would appreciate the support!

Don’t forget to bring some water if you can make it!

Our next Summer Work Drop-in is today from 1:00-4:00 in the library. If your student needs help with the math or reading summer work they can stop by and work with some of our teachers. Also, if your student did not receive a summer work mailing you are welcome to stop by to pick it up from Westport at any time.

If you have any questions about the start of the school year, Westport’s main office has opened for the 26-27 school year!
You are welcome to call us at 502-485-8346 and we can help answer any general questions you might have.
If you need to come in-person, our main office is open from 9:00-3:00 Monday through Friday.

Westport hosts our first summer academic drop-ins on Thursday (only) this week in our library from 1:00-4:00.

If your student needs help with their summer math work or summer novel choiceboard you are welcome to visit Westport and meet with some of our teachers.

Volleyball tryouts July 20-21st from 4-6PM in the large gym! Bring your water bottle, tennis shoes and make sure you have an up to date sports physical!
