In addition to our ongoing Food Drive, our chapter is prioritizing direct support for families and foster homes impacted by the government shutdown or SNAP benefits held this November with Care Packages!

If your household relies on SNAP/EBT or has been affected by the government shutdown and need assistance, we are here to help! No questions asked and with complete discretion.

This effort is our top priority this month! Ensuring that families and children across Louisville do not go without during this difficult time. There is no shame in asking for help when it’s needed. We stand with you. ❤️

In light of the unforeseen situation of SNAP Benefits Hold, the Alpha Omega Mu Chapter of Mu Phi Sigma National Percussion Fraternity, Inc. is answering the call to action!

For the entire month of November or until benefits resume, we’re hosting a citywide Food Drive to support local families and individuals facing food insecurity. All collected goods will be distributed to the Louisville area food banks, community programs, and shelters that are prepping to provide aid to those who might be affected.

We’re collecting:
🥫 Non-perishable food items (canned goods, dry rice, pasta, etc.)  
🦃 Turkeys and fresh or frozen meat products  
🍎 Produce and perishable items (fruits, vegetables, dairy)  

Every donation, big or small, helps someone make it through this unfair time. But, it is better to be ready NOW!

📦 Pickups will take place every Sunday starting November 2nd.
